After visiting Fraser Island we spent a couple days in Hervey Bay before we finally started our way south along the East Coast. Also we finally got around to try some of the famous Aussie-Meat-Pies: Quite delicious!
On our way to Hervey Bay we stopped at Mount Tinbeerwah lookout, a volcanic plug remaining from volcanic activity millions of years ago. We had a great view over the undulating sub-tropical rainforest and the volcanic craters and cones:
Noosa is one of the best known towns of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Its crystalline beach begins right behind Hastings Street:
We enjoyed the afternoon, kicked back at the beach, took a swim in the Pacific Ocean and sampled the local ice cream.
Leaving Noosa behind, we continued along the coast towards Brisbane. The weather was great and the next beach never far…
Sometimes it does not take much to be happy 🙂
